Thread of Life

Green River- Thread of Life

The Green River is like a thread of life.  Through its ebb and flow, twists and turns, it has woven a beautiful tapestry across the southcentral Kentucky landscape and in our hearts.  For many of us the River flows through our veins just as sure as our own blood.  It connects us with each other in both the present and the past.  From Whitewood to Sulphur Well and even forgotten communities like Osceola, it continues to provide a sense of place and commonality as it connects towns such as Campbellsville, Greensburg, Munfordville, and Horse Cave, to name a few.
